His production roots trace the history of the craft: from humble beginnings on a battery-powered Casio with tape-loaded tracks and an Akai AX-60, to deep sequencing on the legendary Atari 1040 STE paired with original Notator software—a vintage MIDI powerhouse that he still maintains in his arsenal.
Now creating in Logic Pro, Sky seamlessly blends found-object field recordings with synthesis driven by hardware icons like the Access Virus Indigo, Alesis QSR, and EMU XL-7 and MP-7 Command Stations, Handsconic, and a collection of world drums, seamlessly integrated with legendary and cutting-edge soft-synths.
